About
This is my first blog. Well, not really the first one—I once had another site, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations.

Welcome to my blog! The name, 思惑 (omowaku), means “thoughts” or “intentions” in Japanese (and yes, I’m using its Japanese definition here).
True to its name, this blog is a space where I share my thoughts on the world, my life, my work,
and just about anything else on my mind—assuming anyone actually reads this!
First things first: my name is Elbert, and I also go by Orbitoo. I’m currently a graduate student studying computational mathematics, though I wouldn’t say I’m particularly good at it, mostly because it’s not where my true interests lie. I prefer pure mathematics and hope to spend more time exploring algebra and other theoretical topics in the future.
While people often stereotype INTPs as smart, I don’t think I fit that description. My friends usually see me as someone who overthinks everything while somehow still appearing a bit clueless. Recently, I’ve been trying to look at the world through a more emotional and self-reflective lens, working to better understand my feelings and reactions. It’s been a challenging but enlightening journey, and I hope to share my growth here, alongside my thoughts on mathematics and my hobbies.
